COLOR OF US | PODS of PGC

The Down syndrome community includes a beautiful tapestry of diversity. This presentation was put together for World Down Syndrome Day in 2016. It is a candid account of these diverse voices and their unique experiences as people of color and how loving their child with DS has shaped their lives for the better.

The structure of our family units differs, but we all have one common bond, our Angels. We love them to the moon and back. With acceptance of the journey, we advocate, and keep fighting the good fight.

We look forward to the bright futures our Angels.
